Lauderdale? Looking for a great hotel in Ft. Lauderdale for my husband's birthday weekend in November. We have a reservation at the Ritz Carlton (formerly the St. Regis) but it looks like despite being nice, it's in a marginal location which would require renting a car. Anyone have any favorite hotels or suggestions? Stewart area? I'm being assigned to Ft. Stewart, GA for one year beginning early December. I think that I would prefer living in Savannah proper, but I'm not at all familiar with the area.<br> <br> I want to be close to shopping, dining, entertainment. I want to be able to take a taxi when I go out at night.
