My boss has challenged me to complete some sort of marathon workout at his gym. I'm not very athletic, but if I can finish, my boss will buy all his employees an expensive steak dinner. I need tips -- especially as to what/when to eat. The workout is at 8pm tonight.

Is there some sort of mental disorder, syndrome or condition that causes people to prefer eating off OTHER people's plates?

I'm going to Vegas next week, and I want to stay sinless in Sin City. Specifically, I'm trying not to over eat (I'm not on Atkins or anything -- just counting calories). I'll be staying at the Luxor for seven days, and I won't have a car. I'm going to stock up on protein bars. What other strategies do you recommend? Is there actually ANYWHERE on (or near) the strip where on can get a healthy meal?

I keep hearing that while you're trying to lose weight, you should be careful not to UNDEReat. True?

My wife and I live in New York City, but she's from the Deep South (Alabama). She's often miffed that when she goes to a grocery store in the city, she can't find food and treats that she grew up with (i.e. Goo Goo Clusters). I know you can order a lot of stuff online, but I was wondering -- since there are Korean grocery stores and Indian grocery stores (and even British grocery stores) in NYC -- is there a Southern U.S. grocery store? If not, is there a central website for ordering Southern food products (rather than multiple websites of various product manufacturers)?

I need ideas for a special at-home dinner. I want to cook a really special dinner for my wife. Something surprising and exciting. I am not an expert-chef, but I'm pretty good at following directions -- even complicated ones. One additional issue that makes this difficult: We're both on diets. We're not on any special diet; we're just trying to avoid anything with a gargantuan amount of calories. So, I need something exciting, romantic and healthy.
