Books like The Wicker Man and Harvest Home

I'm interested in fiction books reminiscent of The Wicker Man and Harvest Home. Horror or mystery stories of strange nature cults/paganism/mystery religions...Not so much stories of Da Vince Code or Name of the Rose but more the former two titles.

Reference Books to Write a Thriller

I am wanting to write a novel involving detective work and criminal profiling. (Yes, it may turn out horrid.) I am looking for some reference books that might help me be a little bit more informed. So far, I have gotten Criminal Profiling by Brent Turvey, and Body Trauma by David Page. Anybody have some recommendations?

Horror anthology recommendations

I'm looking for various horror anthologies -- numerous writers with no overarching subject such as "Zombies!" or "Vampires!". I have enjoyed a few such as Foundation of Fear, Prime Evil, Revelations, and 999.

More obscure books in serial killer fiction

I'm looking for lesser-known fictional books involving serial killers along the lines of works such as Monstrum (Donald James) and By Reason of Insanity by Shane Stevens. All the lists I am pulling up are the big names such as Deaver, Cornwell, Harris, Carr, etc etc. Anybody have some obscure favorites? They don't have to be series (though I enjoyed David Wiltse's '90s run), and actually prefer them not to be series. They can be older works like Jim Thompson's The Killer Inside Me. Thanks for your suggestions.
