I just lucked out huge on Craigslist. Sitting next to me is a combo organ and a Fender Princeton Blackface, which I got for free (tried to offer money, but it was refused). Now how to get the two back to working conditions... Question #1 - what can I plug in here? [more inside]

I have a set of rare rubber-grip Stratocaster knobs taken from a 30-year-old guitar. They look very similar to these. Problem is, the rubber grips have stretched out and are no longer tight around the knob. Is there any way to make rubber contract or shrink slightly so the grips fit correctly? [more inside]

I purchased a used guitar several years ago (Pictures). I'd like some helping ID-ing it and finding more info about its various features. At first I thought it was a '72 American Fender Telecaster Custom, but a few things don't match up. The serial number only reveals its age range, nothing more. [more inside]

About a month ago, my pregnant wife and I were in a minor fender bender on Rt. 202 in NJ. The woman before us stopped short, and we hit her going about 20 mph. This wasn't our fault. Their wa sa police car who made an erratic turn at the merge of the road that cause a few cars in front of us to swerve and or strop short at the time. The mini-van had a minor scratch and bump. Our jeep had no damage..... I don't know the full details of the law, but NJ law seems to say that the person who hits from behind is automatically at fault. Period. [more inside]

I just bought my first electric guitar (Fender Telecaster Mexican) and I absolutely love it. Ever the gearhead, I really want to upgrade the pickups to get a better, tailored to me sound. I've searched around to find some kind of guide, but I have come up empty. I'm looking for a really clean, sharp and twangy sound with less extra noisy buzz than I am getting now. Any suggestions/resources?
