After a scary experience I want to delete my Facebook... how????

I got tracked down on facebook by a real creep that scared me a lot in real life... he knew where I was etc. So about a year ago I deactivated my account, and I really haven't missed it. Is it Creepy to Look Up Church Visitors on Facebook?

I am on the membership committee of my church, and once a week we get a report, complete with full names/emails if provided, of visitors who've signed in. Often, this make them easy to find on Facebook. Sometimes they share mutual friends with me or other members on the committee. Lots of other committees get that email also. My question is: would you find it creepy if someone from a church you visited sent you a FB friend request afterwards? [more inside]

blocked on facebook?

Another (prev.) Facebook privacy/blocking question. An anomaly in FB blocking is that the blockee can see the total # likes and comments on the main page (including people who've blocked you), but the blockers likes/comments are not apparent within the post (so there's an obvious arithmetic disparity if you look closely). What friendships will show in my friends' Facebook ticker?

On Facebook, my friends' list is set to completely private ("only me"). This should mean that when I friend someone with a private / friends-only friends list, the new friendship should NOT show up in my friends' tickers unless they already know that person. However, what if I add someone with a public friends' list - will it show up in my other friends' tickers despite my privacy settings? [more inside]

Stop Facebook from announcing my current location to everyone!

Facebook started automatically adding my current location to my posts. It's freaking me out and I want to make it stop, but how? [more inside]

Facebook's 'eavesdrop' setting?

So what function of Facebook is it that lets my friends see the comments I've made on pages I like - which they have NOT liked - and comment on them? Why/How did Facebook spam me?

So... FacebookTM sent an email to my email address from someone who I don't know but lives in my general geographical area requesting my friendship. Problem: this email address is definitely not associated with a FacebookTM account. However, there are probably cookies from FB on this computer. Also, this potential "friend" appears to run some sort of digital media consultancy (blech). Question: how did Facebook scrape this email address exactly and why did I get this email? Did this guy pay Facebook to send a friend request to an email address they scraped or is it something more automatic? [more inside]

Facebook profile ripping?

A third-party website has created a "profile" for me on their own site, using my main Facebeook picture, which turns up on the first page of Google hits for my full name. It seems to be some kind of cheesy dating site and I really don't want it up there. I've never used the site, or interacted with it in any way (I don't use any FB apps at all, and am savvy enough not to click on spammy links). Do I have any recourse for getting this taken down?

WTF, Facebook? Question about privacy.

All of a sudden, I can see comments that my friends post on the status or links of people who aren't my friends. And vice-versa.
