Now that
WeEndure is going away, I need somewhere to track my exercise. There are a number of places that have biking and running, but not swimming. I'd prefer simpler to the more complex sites like MapMyRun (which, again, doesn't do swimming, from what I can see). I have seen
this and wondered what things are out there, four years later. Bonus: a place that I can dump all my WeEndure data into so I hit the ground running.

I find the running shoes I picked up a year ago at a sale uncomfortable, even though I run regularly in them. So I've been thinking of going down to a speciality running store - but as a 10 km a week beginner, I'm pretty nervous and embarrassed. What should I expect?

I'm taking 150 mg of Seroquel which has seemed to be helping. But i need to lose preexisting weight..about 40-50 lbs. All i read on the web are horror stories about people gaining 50-100 lbs even when they are doing cardio and weights. My question...anybody here either themselves or know people who have actually been able to lose weight while on seroquel if they followed the usual healthy eating and exercise 3-5 times a week?

Hey mefite runners and athletes! Am I running too fast too soon? Over the past 3 weeks, I have run 3 miles, 3 times a week, with somewhat alarming gains in speed. I know from the testimony of others that my enthusiasm could lead to injury and over training. The thing is, I have kept the distance to a strict 5k, and have only run 3 times a week. How do I stand?

My dog is very active. I like to jog long distances. When we run on the lead he pulls and gets distracted by wildlife. Is there a better lead solution? Personal electric fence? How can I get him to run by my side? Must he be condemned to a mostly sedentary lifestyle? He is a Pointer.

I'm new to running, but am already very fit and active (cardio workouts 5-7 times a week.) New runners are warned to take it slowly and not push themselves, but how does this apply to someone who's not coming off a couch towards a goal of 5k?

I've taken up walking on a treadmill lately, and as I ramp up the intensity I seem to be bruising one small spot on one foot. I'm not sure what I'm doing to cause it. It's not a shoe issue. I get this whether I'm wearing regular running shoes or my Vibrams.
