I'm looking for a fully online MA program in TESOL or a related field like Applied Linguistics, that is NOT meant for K-12 public school teaching, with the aim of professionalizing myself as an English tutor. I found the New School's program
here, that would certainly cover all my bases, but I simply wouldn't be able to afford the cost. Can you help me find other options?

I only speak English and I live in a country where much of the English spoken is devoid of plurals and tenses and has a very limited vocabulary. In order to communicate most effectively, would I be better off speaking in technically correct sentences or simplifying my speech similarly?

I'm putting together a GED class for ESL adults. How many 3-4 hour sessions would you imagine it would take to prepare them (there will probably be ~10 people)? Since I will have no funding for the class (books, worksheets, etc.), would anyone happen to know of any online instructional resources? Does anyone have any other tips?

I have an essay due. I have to write to what extent I agree or disagree with the following sentence:
"In The Descent of Man, Darwin noted that human beings, for all their sensibilities and “god-like intellect”, still bear in their bodily frame the indelible stamp of their lowly origin." I'm having ESL problems, because I understand (I think) what each word means, but I don't understand what the sentence put together is saying. Can anyone explain it to me?
