I've been prescribed a blood-pressure medication by a doctor that I don't trust. I'm concerned about taking it for reasons that might be irrational. In the meantime, I need to deal with my blood pressure *somehow* to have surgery. I need someone's reassurance and knowledge. [more inside]

Today is my third day staying home from work with a bad cold-like virus (at least, I assume it's a virus). My girlfriend thinks I ought to see a doctor tomorrow, and I agree. Thus, I need your recommendations for walk-in clinics in Manhattan. Where should I go to get a doctor's opinion? [more inside]
