I've been experiencing some troubling symptoms with increasing frequency and severity, namely vertigo and tinnitus. They're affecting daily life to such an extent that I know something needs to be done. What kind of doctor should I visit, and can these symptoms be alleviated in the meantime? [more inside]

Do my symptoms warrant a visit to the doctor? It sounds like acid reflux to me (so I assume I'd need an appointment), but I'd like your opinion before I go. Involves chronic coughing after every meal, lasting for at least an hour or so, and heartburn multiple times a week. [more inside]
