Are there risks in having botox injections for a neutropenia sufferer?
A relation of mine is determined to have botox injections to get rid of wrinkles, however, they suffer badly from cyclic neutropenia which means that their immune system is often weak and have white blood cell issues and consequently they get infections frequently. I am aware that botox is botulinum toxin and I have kept trying to persuade her to see her doctor before having botox injections, to check whether they are safe for her in light of neutropenia. She is desperate to go ahead with this and it is hard to persuade her to get medical advice on this. From a layman's perspective, I am concerned that this may be dangerous for her.
Does anybody with medical knowledge, perhaps haematology, know if this botox is safe for neutropenia sufferers?
Many thanks!

Primary care doctor and hospital/clinic recommendations in NYC, Manhattan, preferably below 34th.
I am helping someone choose a new primary care doctor. We are leaning towards a practitioner who is affiliated with a good sized
clinic or practice for one stop shopping convenience.

I have a doctor's appointment coming up in the next few weeks. I have healthcare coverage, but I always seem to end up with a decent sized bill anyway, even for appointments that seem to be covered. What are you supposed to say and do to avoid this? This gets rather long inside.

Hospitalfilter: I cut my finger a few hours ago and somehow managed to peel a bit of skin. Is this something I need to see a doctor about or can I roll with hydrogen peroxide, bactine, and gauze? I have insurance but I don't have a doctor, so if I have to see one, I'll have to go the ER. Pics are a touch gross.

What treatments/procedures/personnel can you decline in the hospital? I know that I have the legal right to decline anything, but does the hospital have to continue to serve me if I do? Does it matter if I do or don't have a regular doctor affiliated with the hospital? Does it matter if its an emergency or not?
