Dramatic change in life has rock my foundation of self. I need to figure out who I am now that I lost my main identity. I’m in therapy to help with the change, but was wondering if there were any online (preferably) or offline workbooks, tests, or X activity that I can work through that will help me find myself? I’m at a lost.

Mac-based Discovery / document review software?
Westlaw CaseLogistix nails the functions but is Windows-only.
Must have the ability to manage Bates-stamped PDF/TIF documents with embedded OCR text. Bonus for other file types in addition. Multiple networked users need to analyze/tag documents based on case-specific criteria.
It would be great if the information could be easily exported to an open format, but I know that's likely asking too much.
I searched through the
Macs In Law blog but didn't see any good candidates.
What do Mac-based law firms use?

I'm looking for historic or documented examples of significant research discoveries that occurred as a product of serendipity–specifically in the humanities. Wikipedia's listing on
serendipity primarily lists scientific examples. Surely serendipitous discovery occurs in the humanities. What are the best examples?

I'm looking for examples of rich web interfaces that allow users to explore content based on mood or style, like
Getty Images' Moodstream or
Musicovery. Not necessarily restricted to audio, video or image sites; examples of 'mood 'explorers' helping users discover any other type of content -be it wall paint, holidays or cocktails- will be equally welcome.

How can a Indian software engineer join documentary/photography crew of National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, PBS or other similar production houses? What kind of jobs are available in these organizations? Are there similar jobs (outside of the documentary business) that can take me to such places and pay for it? Low salary not an issue.

I am looking at purchasing a 99 Land Rover Discovery and I notice that it runs only on premium gas. Is this absolutely necessary? Does anyone with experience with a Discovery have any opinions of this vehicle? I heard that the diesel version is a better choice. Thanks in advance.

I would like to make a "scientific discovery", or otherwise contribute something (however useful, or not) to the body of human knowledge. What are some unanswered questions, or unexplained details of the world, or (most especially) developing fields of inquirey, that an amateur might seek to investigate with possibility of making progress into the unexplored?

I watched
Episode 208 of Discoveries This Week on the Discovery Science Channel, and there was a short blurb about mercury levels in fish. They showed a web site with drop down boxes so you could enter in what fish you have been eating and come up with a figure for how much mercury you have been consuming. I didn't have anything to write on, and by the time I got home to the computer I couldn't recall the address. The Discovery site is useless and I'm not having any luck with Google. Did anyone catch it and go to the site they mentioned?
