I've got some car parts I'm selling on eBay, and I need to hook them up to power in order to check a few things and make sure that they work.

Can I fix my '95 Nissan Maxima? It went from sounding a little noisy/gravelly to shaking intermittently. Oil is full but dirty. Must I see a mechanic? Engine sounds like
this (15-second AAC), exhaust sounds like
this (5-second AAC). Used to be very quiet. Can I fix this myself?

My 2001 Toyota Corolla has spontaneously developed a problem: the front and rear fog lights
never turn off, even when the key is out of the ignition. A good mechanic was recommended to me, but he won't be able to see me for several weeks. He warned me to expect to spend $200 minimum. Is there anything I can do in the meantime to try to solve this myself?

Engine is turning over slowly and I think it might be the battery. Affordable way to check this myself or just take it into the garage?

I pulled out an AC/heat vent on my 2005 Kia Spectra 5 and now I can't get it to go back in. Help me either figure out how to get it back in, or at least ID the parts I'm looking at to help focus my Googling.
