I'm planning to move to out of my current studio apartment in DC to a larger one bedroom in the Petworth neighborhood (though the northern end of Columbia Heights/southern 14th St Heights would be possible as well) in DC. I'm looking to start mid-July to August 1st. I need some advice on what complexes might be worth looking at - there are plenty of apartment ratings and listings for more gentrified parts of DC, but very little there. [more inside]

Looking for creative writing classes in the DC area. I have DC residency, so community college classes in MD/VA are out. I've taken one expository writing class before and am a voracious reader, but I havent really done much in the way of a class setting before. I'd like to take a class, also for the peer review aspect and some help getting started on writing! Anywhere that's cheap in the DC region is fine.

Looking for good, CHEAP ethiopian food in DC. I'm taking a bunch of grad students out later this week for Ethiopian food (they all just got here). I just moved back here too, and I'm not sure what's outside of Adams Morgan and U Street (Meskerem, Addis Adaba, Dukem) in terms of Ethiopian...i know there's cheaper places in Arlington and Silver Spring. Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap and GOOD food?
