I'm using Outlook 2003 with Word as my editor on an XP machine. I cannot touch type so I look at the keyboard while typing. My problem is that I will look up and find that the cursor has "left" for some reason and what I have typed has not been entered into the email. I have to move the cursor back to the email and left click before I can type into the document. [more inside]

Wacom tablet (Graphire2) on Win2K machine. Sometimes the pointer goes nuts and becomes jumpy and unusable until I unplug and replug the tablet. Drivers appear to be up to date. Any thoughts on why this happens? [more inside]

Where, oh where, can I download a right-pointing cursor?
I'm left handed (and have set up my mouse accordingly) but it twists me to use the standard-issue northwest-pointing cursor. I have searched Versiontracker to no avail.
I'm using Leopard Version 10.5.7, if you care.
Yes, yes, I know that there are bigger problems in the world.

Is there a free program that would allow me to have my cursor (mouse) disappear on system start up and/or after remaining motionless for a few seconds? I found one program, "cursor hider", but it is not free.
Too bad, because it is exactly what I want.

What turned my cursor, mouse arrow & hand green? I didn't. At least not knowingly, and I don't like it.
How do I get it back to the way it was.

Saving a file on Windows XP, I use Explorer to select the folder I wish to save to. When I navigate the directories, clicking on an appropriate folder I occassionally move the cursor over filenames. As I mouseover filenames, Explorer replaces the default name of the file I wish to save with the name of the file I mouseover. Can I modify Explorer to prevent this filename replacement? Disappearing cursor on OS X. Recently my Powerbook's cursor keeps disappearing when I unplug my mouse. It won't reappear (even when I plug the mouse back in) unless I reboot. It's freaking nervewracking. Any ideas?

My typing hands hurt. I'm doing what I can. Has anyone used a foot mouse? Or even a foot mouse? Can you really control the cursor with your feet? Does it hurt your feet after a while? I'm looking for some first foot experience, so to speak.

Openoffice.org question. I've been using OO.o for a couple of weeks now and one thing is driving me mad. The cursor always looks to be about 1em further ahead of the text than it actually is. As a result I frequently find myself thinking I typed an extra space and deleting the last letter of a word. Is there any way to fix this? It is actually annoying enough that I will stick with Word until it is resolved. [more inside]

Is there any way to make an intermittent problem with a laptop more regular? I have a year-old laptop that they talked me into getting an extended warranty for, and there is a problem with the touchpad I've tried to get them to fix twice, but it's never a problem when it's in for service. How can I give them something to fix?
