I am working on a photography project --hoping to profile a few modern day cowboy bounty men who operate in the West (preferably find people off the beaten path) and who have a strong "cowboy look".
Thank you in advance for your help...

Asking for a dear friend who lost some beloved footwear over the course of a move: Where in New York City do you go to get a nice pair of cowboy boots?

What was this trippy, cowboy-themed weekend morning TV show I used to watch in Brooklyn in the early 1990s? [more inside]

Back in the mid 90s I and a friend were up at 4am and saw a comedy so gloriously quirky we couldn't believe we were watching it. It was on TNT or another network that broadcasts back to back B-movies. [more inside]

I'm looking for examples from literature, comic books, film, and other media, in which a character, for no clear reason (or unexpectedly), is a cowboy. [more inside]

Where in NYC can I buy a cheap, used cowboy hat. Nothing nice at all, just something. If convenient to the upper west side, all the better. Mostly I'm just looking for a place I can go and more likely than not actually find one.

Looking for old westerns with a scene where cowboys have to surrender their guns to the sheriff in order to enter the town, or on their way into an event. [more inside]

There's a western from probably the mid to early 70's. I don't remember much except that the main cowboy character ate entire raw onions as a way to prove how badass he was. There was also a scene where he was stuck in the desert with some woman I think. Does anyone know what movie this was?
