Doggy

Last night our adopted dog snapped her teeth at the baby. Baby is 20 months old - the dog had just curled up on the couch, wasn't asleep, the baby walked by and our dog lunged out her neck, snarled, and snapped her teeth twice (right on level with our babys face). [more inside]

Racism

Is racism inate, inborn, or instinctual in children? Is it a learned behavior/reaction? Or possibly a combination of all the above? And what can be done to overcome it? Perhaps it's a normal stage of child development, something to be worked through as one matures, and nothing should be 'done' about it? [more inside]
