I am breaking my lurker status by asking a "name my kitty" question. Will you please help me name my new adopted shelter kitty? She's about 2 years old, and very sweet and playful. I would like a girl name. I know all about the "cats that look like Hitler" sites, but I'm not into exploiting that cute little mark on her nose (even though I was considering naming her "Eva" for a while).
I'm open to just about anything. And kitty thanks you in advance, she will enjoy no longer being called "New Kitty." Oh yeah... here's the photo!

What's a good name for a cat with a very smug, supercilious, condescending, long-suffering-why-am-I-surrounded-by-fools expression?
Think Jeeves, Stephen Fry, Sir Humphrey in Yes Minister
, Quentin Crisp...

What should I name my new cat
? She was rescued by a co-worker buddy of mine here in Jersey City, and is about 2 years old by the vet's guesstimate. [more inside]

I have a newish cat. He seems to be pretty permanent, so now he needs a name. At the shelter his name was Perry, or maybe Terry. I don't like either name. Photos and details inside. [more inside]

I am adopting a cat who needs a good name. I found him at the shelter where I volunteer; he'd been left outside and abandoned, and suffered from frostbite. He's losing part of his ear, all of his pawpads
(which will grow back), and several teeth, and half his whiskers have broken off. He was so anemic and dehydrated when he got there, the higher-ups decided he should be euthanized, but the shelter manager intervened, treated him with meds, and he survived. [more inside]

We need a name for a kitten, before he's not a kitten anymore. We adopted a little (for now) Maine Coon kitten and so far we haven't managed to keep a name stuck to him. Pictures!
Details below. [more inside]
