In Australia, to be a chiropractic you need to study
formal chiropractic degrees (Bachelors and Masters at least) and do years of pracs that are pretty similar to other medical courses. Chiropractic is also recognised as a Skilled Profession under Australian immigration, and are generally considered amongst the same league as physiotherapy and other musculo-skeletal therapists. However, in the US and the UK, chiropractics are often considered quacks and charlatans. Why the huge discrepancies?

Genealogy and local history filter: Canadian army circa 1943: Where can I find information about my Dad? The family story goes that in 1942/43 my Dad learned that he was about to be drafted (into the army). So he joined the navy. Then I was born (October 1944). Then he was sent to Montreal and my mother and I followed him. Then we returned to Toronto. Is there anywhere in Canadian army records that I can confirm this information?

It took me forever to find the online dating site that everyone uses in my area (plentyoffish.com in the Georgian Bay area in Ontario) where originally I had assumed that there just weren't enough online daters in rural areas when every site I searched on returned pitiful results. Now I am interested in finding an online dating site that facilitates the swinging lifestyle and people that host parties and whatnot. So what are the popular websites for that for Ontario, Canada?

What effects does the U.S. embargo on Cuba have internationally? Specifically Canadian imports/exports and trade. I know Canada still trades with Cuba; however, does the U.S. put enough political and economic pressure to change our own policies? What are the details? How much importance does the embargo have now (excluding U.S. trade)?

I'm looking for a lawyer who gives consultations over the phone, as I'm not in Canada at the moment.
I have some very specific questions concerning self-employed immigration and a few other things (self-employed being the top priority though), so I'd like to find someone who is willing to answer questions as opposed to plugging my data into their questionnaire for a "chance assessment."
I don't care where in Canada the lawyer is located, as long as they are versed in federal immigration procedures.
Do you guys happen to know anyone like that?

Ill be visiting Canada (Vancouver, BC) for the month of February for the Olympics. I have a US based iPhone with service with AT&T on a Family plan with one other iPhone. AT&Ts web site is pretty opaque on the subject of roaming in Canada, but it appears that I can switch to a nationwide family talk plan that includes Canada for the month. Ive been able to find no information on what making that switch will mean for data usage for my iPhone. AT&Ts "customer service web-surfing monkey (tm)" on the phone was no help at all, seemingly having trouble understanding the difference between Mexico and Canada. So whats the deal? Can I get data for a reasonable price with my iPhone in Canada, or should I just go cold turkey and shut my iPhone off for the month (shudder)?
