Help me choose a MBA research paper topic - due in two weeks...

What is the best topic with lots of reference material that deals in International Business Ethics? Something like a review on international bribery or the sale of vaccines or baby formula for profit. I'm looking for the topic that will be the easiest to write because there is so much reference material available. [more inside]

The Sign Painter's Dilemma: Is there such a thing?

I have a question, which I think is about morals and philosophy. I'm pretty sure I can elucidate the thing I'm looking for pretty clearly and hope this doesn't turn into chatfilter. Mainly I'm wondering if formalized discussions of this exist and looking for resources to read up on it. I call it "The Sign Painter's Dilemma" but it could also be a Tattoo Artist's Dilemma... Looking for first-person accounts of descent into corporate corruption.

I'm looking for good first-person non-fiction accounts of how people rationalize their descent into bad behavior. I'm particularly interested in business or organizational contexts in which unethical behavior or corrupt behavior has occurred. Anything come to mind? Thanks!

Can I ethically/legally refuse to work with a client who acts in violation of my personal ethics?

Ethical dilemma at work: I work for a Fortune500 technology company, and one of my responsibilities is to assist with designing solutions for customers with complex requirements. The company is currently finalizing a very large deal with an organization that is well known for funding campaigns aimed at discrimination against a certain group of people, and I am being asked to design a solution for them. As a member of the group being discriminated against, I am understandably very reluctant to get involved in this deal in any way. I happen to know that my immediate supervisor's political views is such that he likely wholeheartedly agrees with the customer's stance in this matter. Do I have any ethical and/or legal grounds for refusing to deal with this customer, and, if so, how do I go about it without jeopardizing my career?

PG Alternatives for R-rated Business Ethics movies

I have several films assigned for a Business Ethics class that I teach including Thank You for Smoking, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, and Wall Street. They make for good discussion and a change of pace from lots of tough reading. This semester for the first time I have a student who does not watch rated-R movies. I want to accomodate the student. So I'm looking for movies with themes equivalent or similar to these three movies that are rated below R, and preferably PG or G. Any ideas?
