Why is the US so desirous of independence for Kosovo? I'm not against Kosovan indepence (in fact, I rather like the idea), but in my rather cynical view of American motivations, I just don't see what's in it for the USA. [more inside]

Is it possible to find out the census of Bosnian immigrants (or the Bosnian Population in US) in the USA, for each individual state? If so, how can I go about doing that task?
I am working on a Bosnian/American statistics maps and I am in a need of state census reports for each state. I don't know if this is hard to obtain, but some helpful leads would be great.
Thanks in advance! [more inside]

Where can I find cheap calling cards to make calls from the US to Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia? A friend's mother recently moved here and needs to make calls to her friends at home on a regular basis. She is paying $0.40 per minute now. There must be some cheaper cards with decent quality. Any idea where I can find them? either online or from local stores. His mom is living in Orange County, CA if that helps. Thanks.

From the BBC:
"EU force starts Bosnian mission"
"A ceremony in Bosnia-Hercegovina has marked the start of the European Union's largest-ever peacekeeping mission as it takes over from Nato.
A ceremony in Bosnia-Hercegovina has marked the start of the European Union's largest-ever peacekeeping mission as it takes over from Nato.
About 7,000 Eufor troops will be deployed across the country to maintain peace and stability, nine years after the Bosnian war ended.
Nato will keep a small base to deal with issues including military reform and tracking down war criminals." [end quote]
So what are the differences between Eufor peacekeepers and NATO's? Like, how are their respective forces raised, maintained, and commanded? How does either differ from UN peacekeepers? How is it decided which of these bodies of armed persons will become peacekeepers in any particular place? And where would I look for more info and/or what search terms would I throw at a search engine?
