I'm exceedingly susceptible to seasickness. I'm an avid scuba diver, and I'm now learning how to sail. I've almost always toured in an aluminum canoe. I don't like the noise (or the weight) but I like the tracking and stability afforded by the keel, especially in a big wind on a big lake. Why don't kevlar/royalex/etc. touring canoes have keels?
