Free Website Blocker?

Can anyone recommend a good (free) program that would let me block specific websites? Not just a filter by category such as porn etc. So far everything I find is either not useul or not free. I use a PC at home and a mac at work, so one that works for both would be ideal, but I'll take what I can get. Suggestions?

Firefox Ads & Pop-Ups

I love Firefox like the next guy, but I think it's popularity has killed off its best feature: ad/pop-up blocking. How do I make all the pop-ups stop? I've installed AdBlocker, added the correct lines of code from this post, run AdAware.... still, I get pop-ups. Same thing on my brand new laptop; within two days of having Firefox I was getting pop-ups.

Needed: blocking software.

Looking for website blocking software. Suggestions? I'm looking for something simple and (more importantly) free that will only block websites I wish to block - not all pornography or questionable websites - and works with Windows 98. If there's a Mozilla extension that fits the bill, even better. Any suggestions? Heard of anything like this available?

What is a decent, free spam filter for Outlook Express? Suggestions that I use another mail client are not necessary.
