My Blackberry (8703e, OS 4.2, Sprint, BIS) cannot receive email BCC'd to me. This is apparently because, while I have set up my Embarq mail to forward everything sent to me in the To: box and the CC: box, there is no option to set a filter to tell Embarq to send all BCC: mail to my @sprint.blackberry.net address so it will show up on my phone.
Is there any kind of workaround for this? [more inside]

I’ve just started using my first PDA/Smartphone (Blackberry 8820) and I need some recommendations for a headset. I know there are tons of questions already—and even more online resources—for finding the best Bluetooth earpiece, but I’m not looking specifically for your standard Bluetooth. [more inside]

Blackberry-Filter: I'm trying to find a battery cover for my BlackBerry 8330 that _blocks_ the camera and flash - that is, a battery cover that doesn't have the holes for the camera and flash. The reasons for this intentional crippling are: 1) I don't use the camera anyway; it's just an extra vulnerability for dust/water to get in, 2) there are some locations that aren't so friendly towards camera phones 3) camera and flash holes ruins symmetry, damnit! Does such a cover exist?

Is a blackberry still useful without a data plan? I have credit toward a phone upgrade on sprint and can get a blackberry for free. My main use for it is text messaging, syncronizing contacts and calendar with my Mac (using missing sync) and Bible software. I don't actually need email or web. In order to get it for free I have to sign up for a data plan which costs $39. I am willing to do that for a month and then cancel if I can. Will the blackberry still be able to do all the things I need without a data plan? Thanks

My clients emails from their Blackberry always end up in my email providers spam quarantine with the text of the mail garbled. Their "from address" comes through on the headers as From: "=?utf-8?B?SmVzc2UgUmFiaW5vd2l0eg==?=". My email provider says my client needs to fix that. My client thinks that they don't have a problem. Is this the way that blackberry emails normally identify themselves in email headers or is my clients set up faulty?

I am a brand new Blackberry Curve owner with a very frustrating problem. I don't have MS Outlook (or MS Office) so I can't sync my address book. I would really like to be able to edit and back up my address book on my PC but I have found NOTHING to help me with this quest. I am not able to spend a ton of money for software I will only use for this purpose (the phone cost enough, TYVM), so it should be "cheap-as-free" whatever it is. [more inside]

When I call any Blackberry 8100 from my Treo 680 using a headset, the Blackberry experiences echo. I have tried it on multiple Blackberry 8100s, and was able to replicate the problem. However, calling any other phone does not cause an echo. Also, the echo only occurs when I use the palm headset with the Treo.

I keep hearing from people that I can use my TMobile Blackberry 8700G as a modem (I will probably get the TMobile Curve when it comes out in a few weeks, if that changes the answer or my options much.) by routing the traffic for my laptop through it, either using Bluetooth or a USB to mini-USB cable. But I also hear that I have to do some hacks or hide it from TMobile or and other things like that.

I am looking to find an email hosting provider that supports a decent “webmail” client and also Blackberry “push” email. From what I have seen, the majority of email hosting providers, that support the Blackberry, make use of Microsoft Exchange, which I am trying to avoid.
These are the things I am looking for...
1. Good "webmail" client - Browser based client to read/manage my email/contacts/calendar
2. Blackberry "push" email synchronization (including calendar and contacts)
3. Does not use Microsoft Exchange ( I cannot stand Outlook Web Access)
4. Price < $10/month per Mailbox
Thank you for any assistance.
