Pair of mid-20s friends looking for a place to stay in Barcelona in early June. I've read up a bit on the neighborhoods and it sounds like the popular, touristy area is near Las Ramblas. However, many of the modern tourist attractions are farther to the northeast. Help! [more inside]

Any recommendations for hotels in Barcelona Spain?
We're going to be there for a few days at the end of June, and need a recommendation for a hotel that would accommodate a family of four. Most of the hotels we've found only take two people in a room. Any thoughts?
