I am travelling to Los Cabos via San Diego this winter and am planning to stay for just over a week. Apart from the obligatory surfing, whale watching, snorkelling, and cuisine, what are some things I can do in that general vicinity that I won't find in a guidebook (including La Paz for a day or two)? What did you enjoy the most?

We want to go somewhere sunny and warm in February. We're in Vancouver BC and don't want to fly too far; cost is an issue. We would really like to bring our touring bicycles and do a mini-tour at a relaxed pace - maybe 250 miles over two weeks. So far we're looking at South Baja. Good idea? Other ideas? [more inside]

The missus and I will be in Baja for the holidays, winging it as usual with no agenda. Where should we go, especially for Christmas and New Years Eve? [more inside]

Where should I take my partner for our anniversary in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico?
We're looking at the two-night packages at Las Rosas, but would like suggested alternatives, preferably smaller and more intimate. Also looking for good spa and massage recommendations. If San Felipe is waaay better, please let me know. I researched it online and it looks like a marina and golf courses for American weekenders, which is sort of what we want to avoid.
Oh, we're also interested in a day hike, maybe inland in the mountains.

We have a family of five;1,2&8 yr old boys and us. Can anyone recommend
a great all inclusive resort on the southern tip of the Baja? Kid friendly, beautiful, good food etc.

Can anyone share any first hand experiences in La Paz, Mexico? My wife has a distant relative who owns a bed and breakfast there, and we're having a hard time finding specific information about the town, nearby beaches, etc. [more inside]

We've bought tickets to the southern tip of Baja, Mexico for the third week in May. We'd like to stay outside of Cabo San Lucas, maybe in La Paz or Todos Santos. Any suggestions? [more inside]
