Now that Summer's here, I want to get an American flag (stars + stripes) for the front lawn. Thinking 3x5 is best, but may go for a 4x6 - what's the best flag manufacturer on the market? I've only found help on how to Shrink stuff, not how to avoid it. So the American Apparel medium t-shirts are too big for me even after a wash, but their small shirts are perfect pre-wash. They are 100% cotton and I'm wondering what I can do to not have them shrink at all. Can I hand wash them gently with detergent and then hang dry? Any experience or anecdotes would be great!

I want to buy a sink for my bathroom. The sink I want is an American Standard. The toilet I already bought is a Kohler. Both are listed as white, but I can't tell if the whites match. Any one know a good resource for checking this out? I could go to the Depot, but they don't have exactly the sink I'm looking for, so I will probably have to do a internet faith order.

NPR-story-with-little-to-go-on-filter: Several years ago, I heard a radio story involving a tribal election in which one candidate was represented as being for re-investing funds in the tribe, while another was for direct payments to tribe members. An tribe member, interviewed, said he'd vote for the latter, although even he didn't think it was best for the tribe or for him in the long term -- because he wanted the cash. [more inside]

I am involved in branding a "company" that has a casino, theater and hotel as part of its assets. Part of the brand development is naming. The company is located in Northern New Mexico (Espanola – which, I've been informed is a leading provide of Black tar heroin!). Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations for reference books or even novels that focus on that area/culture and might spark some inspiration for names. The "company" is actually a Native American tribe or Pubelo that is known for its Black pottery.
