I thought about attending a conference here in Orlando (so no hotel or travel fees), but being new to this I am not sure about the presenters, and the price tag is hefty (even with my discount code, $395 for three days). I've got an Adobe Photoshop PSD file of my company logo. We've got a vendor making swag for us that needs the file as an Illustrator EPS file converted to outlines. Converting to EPS is fine, but I'm stumped on finding a way to get the outlines. Help, fellow nerds, Help!

Does anyone have a URL where I can download Adobe Photoshop CS (Not CS2) for Mac? I'm trying to reinstall it, but I do not have the original install package. I did find a download link for the CS trial version, but this version does not let me enter a serial number. The 'registration' menu item is grayed out.
Alternatively, is there a way that I can plug in my serial number to the trial version that I found.

Does anybody know of anyplace I can get a cheap legal copy of Adobe Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2? I would be fine purchasing a used copy if it was completely legal. I do not have the money right now to buy the software at the normal retail price but would like to learn them. Also, if I were to buy a used product from eBay, what should I make sure it includes to make it a legal copy? Cheers!

I've been wondering. Is anyone working on a OSX replacement for photoshop and illustrator? Something native to the OS and without all the baggage, oddness, and expense of the Adobe programs.
I wondered about this for some time, but after checking out Microsofts' (yes really) Expression package, it makes me wonder . . . what's next for drawing/illustration software on the Mac?

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 problem: I just installed around 3000 fonts on my Windows XP system, and now photoshop won't start. It starts loading the reading font part of setup and then craps out saying: "Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable." What can I do besides deleting all the fonts I installed?

Photoshop CS (OSX, too) for professional photographers: I'm hearing good things on "Adobe Photoshop CS for Photographers: Professional Image Editor's Guide to the Creative Use of Photoshop" by Martin Evening.
