Is there a way to password protect one application from running on Mac OS X? Ideally, I would like to keep Adium from ever running without an admin authentication being provided immediately prior to it running. Specifically, I would like to prevent either Firefox or Adium from running, even when I am logged in, assuming I have quit both applications before walking away from the computer. Please do not tell me to setup seperate user accounts, I know how to do that. I am asking how to lock firefox and adium out from running without admin privleges.

How do I log the hours I'm logged in to Google chat? I'd like to know when I'm logged in to Google chat, for records. Is there any software that can keep a log for me? (I use Adium on a Mac.)

Am I being paranoid or is this a common glitch?

Uh... I'm a mac user, on adium. When I log into gmail via browser, the chat option within the browser doesn't work. So besides the fact that someone else might be in my email account, is there any reason I'd see myself pop up in the gtalk list of my Adium account? I've used adium for a long time and this is the first time this has happened. I have never given my password away to anyone, and just want to see whether this anomoly has happened to anyone else, or advice as to how I might look into this.

Where does Adium store the photos it takes with the macbook's camera? If I use the ichat camera to take a photo with PhotoBooth, normally, the photos would be in the /~user/pictures directory. But if I use Adium to take a photo for a chat picture, the photo is stored somewhere else. Some where mysterious. Can anyone solve this mystery?

How do I move my Adium settings?

I use Adium as my instant messenging client. I am in the process of moving user accounts and I would like to take all of my settings and data with me. How do I do it?
