I am trying to summarize a table of thousands of values into simple year ranges. It should be simple. So basically, there is a table that looks something like this: PIPE_PLR_Y MILES 1912 0.06 1914 0.48 1930 1.43 1942 1.32 1929 0.85 1925 2.00 1914 0.95 1929 0.42 ... The table has many, many values between about 1900 and today. I would like to make a table like this: Year_Range MILES 1900 - 1909 23.6 1910 - 1919 64.3 1920 - 1929 73.1 ... Again, I'm using Access 2010. Any help would be massively appreciated.

Lately when I turn on my Mac, it detects an Airport Extreme base station. I don't know where the station is; I don't have one and I don't know the password to the one being detected. The Airport Extreme is chosen instead of my home network for internet access, and even when I manually cancel it and choose my own network, I sometimes lose connectivity as the computer returns to the Airport Extreme as a default connection. Lately, this is also happening with a PC and a Kindle, making it hard on all devices to choose my home network and keep it as a default.

I have thousands of rich text message message fields currently formatted in RTF (rich text format) that need to be stripped of their formatting and converted to plain text. We will be needing to drive an elderly relative to various locations over the next few months to help her find and relocate into a new retirement home.. She has had extensive spine surgery and is unable to life either foot up more than about one inch and maybe not even that. I have been looking for a temporary device (under $100.00) that we can use on these occasions but have no idea what to look for. She uses a walker - refuses a wheelchair. She's tried the "bottom in first" then swinging her feet in but that still involves lifting them. She used to be able to do that but no more. Maybe the only solution is to get a cab with sliding doors that opens down on the street level and she follow behind us in the cab but that would be expensive and time consuming as we would have to have the cab wait while she is inside being interviewed, taken on inspection, etc.

Our small office uses a MS Access database daily for non profit work. The database is small enough where I'm not certain it warrants upgrading to SQL. Most of the work done in the database is remote (7 users total) so we are looking to move from a standalone PC w/remote access to the cloud. I would greatly appreciate any advice with regard to moving the DB to a cloud service provider that supports MS Access. One that is reliable, is relatively easy to admin e.g., backups and lastly, inexpensive.
Access - trying to get by with the easiest way. There's a form and a table. After the form is filled out it needs to be printed and go to the table. Going to the table is fine. The problem - if the exact sequence of clicks is not followed then you print all the forms. Macro? Other ideas?
