ASPfilter... my company has a website that was constructed in classic ASP. We wanted to add some meta keywords to the header, so we had the original designers add the keywords to the header file. Long story short, they're now charging us for 4 hours of work, which included testing. That's $600. Am I wrong to think we're being overbilled?

I'm looking to add a very basic ASP 'support' forum for an industrial site. Natuarally, this is on a shoestring budget, and I'd prefer not to write it myself. I'm hoping that there is a basic forum implementation that I can adapt. The hosting of the site presents all sorts of 'fun' requirements. [more inside]

A client wants to enable fiile uploads via their web site. The web site is hosted outside the company and the files need to be uploaded to their FTP server which is hosted within or on-site at the company. Thus far all the components I've looked into upload to the web server. Is this simply the only option? Can anyone recommend a good component or alternate method? PHP, ASP are fine.

I have to write a site using ASP. Now the people I'm writing it for are pushing for ASP.NET
At the best of times, I'd be nervous about handing large amounts of HTML generation to the people who gave us Homeshite, but all the ASP.NET demos I can find are awful. Anyone got experience of the change?
