What's the name of the website where artists can have an idea that they don't have time to do themselves? I forgot to bookmark it. Ie. I have a really good band name idea, but don't have time to do the work so I donate the right for someone to use the idea for a year.

Last winter, our small-town nonprofit arts organization decided it wanted to do something during our long dark winters to bring people together to be creative in its gallery space. Thus was born free weekly
drop-in adult creative time. Problem is, people don't go. How do we change this?

I like to think that I'm pretty good at web/graphic design, programming, motion graphics, and a lot of other new media type things..but I'm a left-brained guy. How do I put together a portfolio (or otherwise market my skills) to show what I'm good at, even though I'm not the type of person to sit around and make art?

My partner has a hobby/interest that is important to him--similar to music or art, it's something that he occasionally shares the labors of his love with the public. The problem? I'm not crazy about these particular creative fruits. Am I just being too snobby?

What is a creative way for me (male, 22) to propose to my girlfriend (female, 21) in the area of Atlanta, GA or somewhere in NW GA? I do not want to do something that has been overdone (megatron @ ballgame). I want it to be romantic, semi-private (not drawing huge attention if is out in public), and memorable. She loves art and nature (not this damn heat). I am drawing a blank and need help ASAP!

There's a new art exhibition in London showing works of art taken from people's workplaces, for example, sketches by particle physicists. Unfortunately I can't remember what it's called or anything else about it. Can anyone shed light on this, and if so, have you been to it?

A site I designed was recently described as "competent but uninspired," while this stung, it matches what I feel about it. My question to the community: are any designers here willing to take a look and offer me some constructive criticism? I'd really appreciate it, as this site is for an artist friend and I'd like the design to be both professional and "inspired" without obscuring the art. [Link Inside]
