My mom sent an email to herself on AOL containing sensitive information, and it never arrived - and there's no record of it in her inbox, or sent-message folder. Should we be worried? (details inside) [more inside]

My client uses AOL for mail, which I have to sift through, and forward to various places. I want to set up scripts to automate some of it. Is there a good mail client for Macintosh capable of dealing with AOL mail, through IMAP, to let me set up clever filters for it? [more inside]

i gave my mother an email on my domain, and, being a woman of a certain age, most of her friends use AOL. unfortunately, AOL is blocking all emails from my domain. i think my doman name was hijacked for spam in the past. how do i get AOL to stop blocking my domain?

I know speaking about AOL is not eCool, but ....it seems that AOL e-mails are delivered more frequently if I'm actually, actively doing something with AOL (e.g., sending e-mails, or using their web browser--which I don't do, but). Am I imagining this, and if not, is there any way to defeat what seems to be AOL's way of managing resources?

In the last three days I've had 150 emails - 140 of which have been message failures from AOL. They think I've been sending spam emails from random addresses on my domain to random addresses on their domain.
Strangely, I've had no complaints from people about how I am spamming them, but the domain is non-obvious and not advertised on the web. What the hell is happening?

Conversion of AOL e-mail archives: When I was young I used AOL e-mail for one and a half year (AOL Version 3 on Win95). I still have this Win95-Box with a working installation of the AOL software and can access these mails one by one. Now a MacOSX user I'd like to import those archives into the Mail.app or make them at least accesible in some open text format. Any ideas? (I came across this service that claims to do just this, but I don't want to hand out my private e-mail archives).
