What is currently the fastest AGP video card out? I am on the fence about spending money on upgrading my computer, If i can find an upgrade to my videocard eVGA 6800 GT and more ram then I will most likely be good for now(playing warhammer online). [more inside]

It's been a while since I've needed to know anything about the innards of a PC, but I just got a new one (new to me, anyway) at work and my dual-head AGP video card won't work with this machine. Good news is that I get to buy a new video card, the bad news is that I have no idea what to shop for in terms of interface. So, without further ado, can you tell me anything about the long black slot with the blue retaining clip pictured here, as well as the small slot below it? Many thanks, MeFis!

I am trying to figure out what are my options for a AGP video card to upgrade from XFX 6600GT AGP for gaming purposes. I am a newbie at gaming and have been recently dabbling with Quake 4. I installed this card when it was considered to be one of the better cards out there. But at that time I never played anything! So now it got me thinking what AGP card could I upgrade to for higher quality rendering, without breaking the bank. Its a AMD +3200 System with 1GB ram. Quake seems to run ok at full native resolution of the Dell 2001fpw monitor at High quality. With Ultra quality setting it starts to choke. I know if I had a PCI-e system i would have many options. But right now I am not planning on a new box. Looking for some advice from more experienced folks than myself. many thanks
