I need to rent or purchase a reasonably priced record lathe to cut short run vinyl LPs. Advice/contact info needed. [more inside]
A very specific music request: I want to listen to more things that sound like Maurizio's M-4.5. [more inside]
A while back, I came across a site that would generate artwork suitable for use in iTunes for those odd old singles you have on MP3. The artwork resembled an old 45 RPM record and I think could be customized with the track and artist name. Ring any bells? I can't find it in my bookmarks.
I picked up an old John Lennon / Yoko Ono 45 at a yard sale, and on the vinyl itself, written in the plastic, is "one world, one people". It looks hand written, and there are a bunch of numbers near it. What gives?
What would be the best way to convert the speed of an mp3 so that it emulates slowing from 45rpm to 33rpm? The speed change would be around 0.733. SoX doesn't seem to work very well.
