I am seeking the name of a film, set in post-apocalyptic Sydney (Australia). I could have sworn it had Cassandra Harris in it, but IMDB disagrees. It was filmed and was set in in the early- to mid-80s, and had a bunch of people running around trying to escape the nuclear fallout that hit the Opera House and ended up in the northern beaches. The film wasn't necessarily good, but it resonated. Can you name the film? Thanks!

I just watched Poltergeist, which I am now thinking seems right-wing, almost Catholic. at the end of the movie, the husband kicks the tv out of the room and serene music plays. is this a common feature of the movies of the time? did people kick the tv out of the room a lot in the movies of the 80s?

Can anyone identify a 1980s TV movie about ghosts? I recall seeing it in the early- to mid-1980s as a child. I don't remember much except a scene in which a woman gets out of the shower in a very misty bathroom and goes to the mirror. Behind her in the heavy steam you see a ghost standing there in the reflection. At another point in the film the ghost may write on the mirror in the mist? But I may be misremembering that last part. Does anyone remember this cereal from the 1980s? The commercial was for a hot cereal so gross-looking that the kids had to wear paper bags on their heads, but they said it was really great-tasting and chocolatey. Is this just my own imagination at work, or did it actually exist?
