Good laptop and camera backpack for carry-on?

I need to get a backpack that fits a 17" MacBook Pro (with neoprene sleeve on), as well as some sort of separate (i.e. removable and wearable) camera shoulder bag, holding itself a canon 40D and a few lenses. Oh, and it has to get through airport security as carry-on luggage, obviously... My favorites, which I've tested, are the STM Large Rogue, STM Loop and some Crumpler bags with weird names. The STM bags seems to have a too small compartment to cram down a separate camera bag, though. And I've yet to find a Crumpler bag with an inner compartment large enough. The camera bags I've looked at are the Tamrac Explorer 2 and Express 7, and the Canon 2400 gadget bag.

And yes, I've been looking at the Tamrac Adventure 9 and the Lowepro Compurover, which are laptop-bags with a special compartment for the camera. But I really don't want to waste all that space when I don't need luggin my camera around.

Sending dirty stories to a 17 year old

Is it illegal for me to send dirty, dirty stories to a 17-year-old in Oregon? I need help proofreading a number of pieces of short fiction, several of which contain very explicit sex scenes. I've gotten one volunteer for the project, who happens to be 17 years old. My gut feeling is that the law would frown on me sending stories containing explicit sex to a minor, but I can't find any legal information to back this guess up. This teenager would have no trouble walking into a local Barnes & Noble and buying equally explicit material in the romance or erotica sections, but would the fact that an adult was sending (emailing, in this case) the material warrant fines or worse?

I am in California, and the teenager in question is in Oregon, if state law makes a difference.

Replacing a damaged Powerbook Screen yourself?

Just recently my friend dropped his beloved 17" Powerbook G4, while the end result was pretty bad, as in the screen was completely smashed, the rest of the unit is still in good condition. Luckily I have been able to find a replacement screen at a pretty good price, and I am looking to replace/attach it myself. The only trouble is I don't know how hard this will really be. Which is why I am seeking your experience and advice. From what I have checked the new screen and the old damaged unit are compatible. What I'm not sure about is how to wire the new screen to the base of the old unit. Does anyone have any experience in this? What tools would I need probably need? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your time and effort,
Best regards,
Gavin
