I am looking for some tutorials for photoshop. Specifically beginner tutorials. Better yet, a website that ranks its tutorials based on the complexity level. Any other suggestions on how to learn photoshop (besides "practice alot") would also be much appreciated

I am in love with the way they make doener kebabs in Berlin. However, now that I'm living in a much less civilized city (Washington, DC), all I can find are authentic Turkish kebabs. While these are excellent, they're just not the same! Help me figure out how to make them just like they do in Germany.

How can I become more handy? I suppose based on my upbringing, I never had to, or had the chance to be.....handy. For Christmas my brothers get tools, and I get...not-tools. My roomate MacGyver has no problem taking apart the engine on his boat, installing something on our roof, or building an elaborate tunnel to escape the throws of our evil landlord. I feel inadequate. I feel intimidated and overwhelmed just walking into Home Depot or Autozone. Could it be possible that I don't have the right stuff to be handy, or do I need to just put my 'hand' in something. I would love to have the confidence and skills to build a tree fort with full electric and plumbing. Help a brother find his handy-ness!

Is my chiropractor talking nonsense? I have been seeing a cranial chiropractor since hurting my neck in a car crash. So today in my session she was gently fingering the top of my spine, base of my skull area, and she said that she had pinpointed the problem area because she could feel my nerves 'fizzing'. I think she is right about finding the location of the injury cause thats where I get the most pain when she touches me. But can she really be feeling my nerves fizz. Is that scientifically possible?

My 5 year old jvc dvm90 minidv/still camera just gave up. It's my only digital still camera, so I want to get another, but don't have much money now. I was always disappointed by the low light filming any way. So, do I get an equivalent for ~$300 or go for a used "prosumer" like the canon xi, Panasonic 953, etc. for about$450 to $500 if possible(craigslist, ebay)?

A Torrent Question: Why, when downloading (anything) using bitcomet can i only connect to peers who are also using the bitcomet client? When i use uTorrent i can connect to many more peers who are using all sorts of clients. I'm obviously going to switch apps, but would love to know the reason for this behaviour. Thanks.

What has happened to the cyberpunk movement - I keep reading it has died and post-cyberpunk doesn't seem to be doing much. What is the current counterculture on the net? My 14 yo's MP3 player (a cheap Motorola flash player) kicked the bucket the other day. She wants a new one. I really don't know what's out there, or even what I should look for. She's reasonably careful with her stuff, but the player would live in her backpack and has to be somewhat durable. A flash player is probably preferable, for the same reason. She doesn't want her dad's Zen (says it's dorky looking).
