I want to talk about ethics in marketing from an in-the-field standpoint; I think it's an important conversation that nobody's having. But I'm overthinking myself right out of ever doing it.

I applied for a very competitive position and made all of the preliminary cuts. I received an email that I'm being considered for a position in really awesome unit, and will be contacted if they want to interview me. They will make their decision on monday at the latest. Should I contact them? I really, really want this job!

A domain name I'm interested in just "expired" 5 days ago according to its WHOIS record. However, all the registrars I've tried say that the domain is unavailable. Is there some kind of grace period for this? What's the best way for me to know if/when it actually becomes available? Any way for me to grab it right now? BTW there's nothing hosted there, and it appears to be owned by a squatter. Obviously I'm not looking to pay squatter prices here.

Was at Best Buy today. They had the Flip Ultra HD on display - an employee led me right to it when asked. The price card said $150. As I suspected, they'd mixed it up with the Flip Ultra II. Is there anything in California state law that requires them to honor the price shown? I've been in this situation before and I'm never sure if I'm in the right to insist that they honor the price displayed. I thought there were consumer protection laws governing this stuff, to keep the retailers honest and make them care about accuracy, but I don't really know.

I'm on the board of HOA of my building and we have a bylaw which prohibits leasing of units. But it occurs to me, couldn't an owner just rent on the sly? For example, they could say someone is house-sitting their condo. Or they could say they're letting a friend stay at their place for a while. How can a condo board prove a unit is being leased?
