I'm looking for suggestions for a clock that's unique/interesting from a design perspective. My only requirements are that it's illuminated at night, and that it displays time in an easy-to-read XX:XX format (so something like
this is out). A perfect example is
this, but unfortunately it's just a concept.

Help me, MeFi elves! What are some tiny, practical, long-lasting, and fun gifts for twentysomethings? Specifically, gifts that are not likely to get thrown out or given away, due to moving far away - so, no books or voltage-specific electronics. I've already done the Swiss Army Knife, and a USB drive is a little too practical. What now?

My mom seems to be under the opinion that Hitler and Nazi Germany were 'fans' of Persia/Iran, and that one of the reasons the Shah at the time changed the name of the country from Persia to Iran (meaning "Land of the Aryans"), was to appease Hitler. I can't find any evidence to support this claim. Can someone clear this up for me?

Shibboleth-Filter: I saw a man on the NYC subway wearing a strange button. A green san-serif "L" on a white background with a big red "No" strike-through symbol. Googlefu is failing me. What was he for or against anyway?

Help me remember a quote by Anne Boleyn (I think). If I recall correctly, she once told Henry: "I'm too [abc] to be your mistress but too [xyz] to be your wife." I can't for the life of me remember it. Also, [abc] and [xyz] might actually be the same word.
