Lip color that stays and doesn't dry out?

I love the look of lip color, but have always had a hard time finding something that feels good on my lips, won't smear and/or won't dry out my lips. I know there's tons of new options out there now – do you have a favorite? I like the idea of stains a lot, but again I don't want something drying. I use lip balm all days; are there stains out there that stay even after a balm is used? Colored balms haven't really fit the bill. Other options I haven't thought of? I basically want something that I can't feel on my lips, but looks amazing for long periods of time. Lip color lovers, does this exist??

Does anyone recognize the organization on this graphics tee.

It's "for a project". It might be for a Christian religious association. Or Dave Matthews who has a peculiarly Christ-like affectation id you ask me. Graphic is here

What is this fabric print style?

In an article about Tidiane Thiam, I saw this picture of him with some other members of the Democratic Party of Ivory Coast (PDCI-RDA). The party members are wearing these shirts made with a distinctive print that has squares filled with geometric patterns, like a quilt with a stricter unity across squares. Does this style have a name or a historical background?

Experienced sewing people - can I get bigger buttons put on old shirts?

I have a bunch of very nice button-down work shirts that have small buttons and tight-fitting button holes. I also now have arthritis in my hands that’s making it painful if not impossible to button these buttons. Can I take them to a tailor/seamstress and get larger buttons put on along with corresponding larger button holes, or is that foolishness? Foolishness factors include prohibitive cost, impossibility of the task, or general ’no way to do this and make it look good.’

Finding my son a sole-mate

My son (under 10) wears Crocs. He is the sort of person who tries one thing, likes it, and never wants to change, so he has been wearing Crocs since he could first walk. These are not great though for running around and probably not awesome for his feet. He needs real sneakers. Problem is, I got him running sneakers and he does not like them. He says they are too heavy. That's fine. But is there a better brand? Maybe a brand more like Crocs? This is the US. Happy to order online or in person.

Not drycleaning, not fluff and fold, but ... launder and press?

I have a pile of women's jersey shirts (business casual) that are machine washable and dryable, but they need pressing to look presentable. I would like to outsource the washing and ironing/pressing. My drycleaners said they only do "fluff and fold" (cheap, but no ironing) and "drycleaning with spot removal" (expensive). Is "Launder this and then press it" possible these days, and what sort of establishment offers it? (Large city, US).

Can a bookstore cat become a sex kitten?

Cute hats for a small head

I'm looking for cute, stylish hats for regular wear. I also have a small head, so hats in "normal" sizes are usually too large for me. My aesthetic is queer femme, I wear a lot of black and dark colors, and I mostly need hats for social and work occasions. [more inside]

Glastonbury footwear

I know there are a million threads on the internet about the best shoes for Glastonbury (I know because I have read them all) but they are typically from local-ish people, those who are driving and can store things in their car, or might otherwise have the luggage room to err on the side of caution. None of these describe me. But I have so many thoughts (too many thoughts, maybe). [more inside]
