I'd like to buy a good soft PS2 dance pad for my sister-in-law who likes to play DDR, but reviews indicate that most models break after a few months. Are there any reliable dance pads or reputable stores that sell good models with extended warranties? I would also consider metal pads under $100.

My girlfriend is in South America for the next few months. She is living in a house that is owned by her uncle who works for the Catholic Church. He has a wonderful HDTV and a PS3 sitting in his house but no games. Now he isn't there that often but her 14 year old cousin lives next door. What PS3 games would be appropriate for my girlfriend and her 14 year old female cousin that wouldn't create a potentially awkward scene if her Catholic Priest uncle found them? [more inside]

Where do I find a sauna in Houston, TX? After living in Berlin for a bit over a year, I'm living now in Houston and looking for a place to go with friends to sit and relax in a sauna. Is there a place to go that'll have a 185-210+ degree sauna? Which are the best for groups, etc? (So far all I've found are gyms- and even those segregate by sex... which defeats the purpose of going with a group of friends).

We know smoking is bad for people, but is it bad for synthesizers? While looking at classified ads for various bits of musical equipment (speakers, synths, samplers etc) I often see in the descriptions "all gear used in a 100% smoke-free environment". Does this actually matter? And how come nobody ever includes that in descriptions for secondhand electric guitars?

I would like to wear a bear costume for Halloween, but the only storebought options I have found on eBay and elsewhere online haven't quite matched what I'm looking for. This is basically what I'm after, as a reference. Or possibly even this one or this one. If anyone out there knows where to find something similar that would fit a 5'9" 130 lb person, I would be thankful (bonus points if I can buy it in the Vancouver, BC area) Full disclosure: I plan on drinking beer from a growler with 'Honey' written on it.

Here we go with another one of those 'help me remember something from a bizarre series of random images' questions! When I was a kid (we're talking approx 1973 to 1978, with maybe a year or two on either side) i had a record that came with a storybook. From very vague memory, you listened to the record and you turned the pages of the book in time with a specific sound (though I could be wrong). Here's where the memories get very random (all of the following may or may not be true): the story involved tiny people, they lived in a forest, next to or near a house, children lived in the house (or were visiting the house), with an older man (a grandfather?), who had a big old-fashioned looking car.
