Can any Mac Project Planing Software export to Microsoft Project?

Is there anyway to export something from OmniPlan or similar Mac Project planner and get it to open in Microsoft Project?

Omniplan and other SAY they open in Project but in reality they export an XML that Project etc doesn't really like. I need something that will actually open, not say that it will. I tried a number of products but they all gave me the faux export.

I use Merlin when I have to. It works well.
