Where are the best dollar stores (widest selection/ best housewares/ best toys-that-don't-fall-apart-when-touched/ weirdest other stuff) either in the Washington metro area or on-line?

For dollar store weird other stuff try Deal Extreme. I really like them, they have free shipping for everything.
