Are there any compilations of cable data, either in high-res map form or maybe a text database?

GlobalNetworkingFilter: There are submarine cables under the oceans which connect the continents together. Are there any compillations of cable data, either in high-res map form or maybe a text database? [mi]

I'm most interested in the names of the cables, their bandwidth capacity, and their endpoints. I don't care much about terrestrial cables or anyone's private cables. Just the public cables that carry voice or internet traffic.

This map is a start, although I think it's a few years out of date. There's some more detail in the last few pages of this document. Tyco has a pretty big system, there's a map of it here.

I should never post in the morning before sufficient caffeine. Embarassing.
