I work in marketing and advertising industry and already read blogs like Adrants, Techcrunch and MarketingVox. I'm also an avid reader of productivity sites like 43 Folders and Lifehacker (to give you a sense of the kind of news and tips I'm looking for). I'm not looking for the "basics" as I'm firmly established in my career and have enough experience to know those points already. But I'd like to stay on the cutting edge of new technology, strategic approaches, conferences and general know-how on the subject.
