Automatic phone dialing game: Is there a product or software application that will automatically dial the next number after one hangs up with the current number? This is a personal efficiency-oriented question. Thanks!

When I have a bunch of numbers to call I cut and paste into Skype to dial quickly. Skypeout is $0.02 a minute though.

Auto-dialers and auto-dialling programs are usually restricted by state law for obvious reasons. Do you really want these things in the hands of bored teenagers? Or unscrupulous salesmen?

I found a state-by-state listing of the auto-dialling FCC & FTT regulations for you.

dunkadunc: "I smell telemarketers."

I note that this question is the only thing this user has done on Metafilter thus far. So you may be right.

Still, without obvious evidence of malicious intent, I really should default to assumptions of honorable intention. Sorry. So check out this O'Reilly article, or more specifically the offered solutions in the comments.

I'm not a telemarketer. I am very interested in personal improvement and organization.

I have a small-homebuilding company (www.reframehomes.com). I have to make from 10 - 20 calls per day. I really hate making them. BUT, it occured to me if I could automate the whole process, it might actually be fun.
