Question: Name this song

Identify what song this is from my wicked guitar playing. [mp3 inside]

I heard this song on the radio last night, but they didn't back announce it - here's my attempt at the main riff from it:

80k mp3 file.

It had an 80s rock sort of feel about it (kind of lo-fi), was quite long, the singer almost sounded like Gordon Gano from the Violent Femmes (although it clearly wasn't), and one of the lyrics was "I was listening to the radio, but I heard something else.

Saw a great new-ish band today at the Reading Festival - reminded me of Television and maybe early Takling Heads, 'cept maybe with more energy. Called Razorlight - we thought they were absolutely brilliant. Look out for 'em.
