I would like to register a .nl domain, however I am not based in The Netherlands. Can this be done?
Bonus points if my name / address information can be kept out of whois.

Aha, I had a bit of a problem finding that information. Thanks for that!

So on to the next question; Can anyone recommend a registrar for .nl domains?

So far I've look at a few, including vuurwerk.nl, but they all seem to give very limited access to administration, ie vuurwerk seems to charge me 20 euro for a DNS change.

I am basically looking for the GoDaddy of .nl.

Always try and visit nic.tld, if a site loads, you can find most of the info you need there.

thijsk, thanks for suggesting DDS, I remember them from the good old dialup days when they started xs4all.

I sent an email and they are quite helpful.
