Html on Gchat

How do I type small on gchat? Is there a listing of html codes for gchat in general? Thanks!

These are the only formatting tricks I'm aware of, along with emoticons.

I don't know if it's possible to change the font size for gchat but here's info on italicizing and bolding:

Italics - you can surround text with an underscore (”_”) to italicize it. For example “_this_ is important” displays as “this is important”

Bold - if you surround text with astericks (”*”) it will display as bold. “*This* is important” displays as “this is important”

gchat doesn't support HTML, AFAIK. In the Google Talk client you can set the text size and font for chat windows, but it has no bearing on how your message looks to the recipient.
