Accountant, please.

YANMA, so any suggestions for an accountant in/around Providence, RI? And how much should it cost for a consultation?

I moved to Providence from Brooklyn a few months back and I need an accountant to help me understand what taxes I am going to owe to each state.

Part I: Any suggestions for a good accountant in/around Providence? I have a car, so I'm willing to drive far if needed (including Boston).

Part II: What should I expect to pay? I would like a consultation upfront to discuss my multi-state tax issues and to help me determine if I need to put money away for tax time next year. I would also like to have this person prepare my '08 tax return as well.

Thanks, as always.

A little more information is needed for a helpful answer. Are you referring to personal income tax, business or both? Self-employed or W-2'ed?
